A lovely Brazilian twin-pop ballad, but my Portuguese is rusty, so I have to speculate here. Since Keyla and Kenya Boaventura are sisters, I'm assuming that the plaintive "menina, menina" ("girl, girl") hook is part of a dialogue with someone else. So conceptually they avoid t.A.T.u. and fall closer to a literal twin version of M2M, singer plus doppelganger fighting heartache in solidarity. Musically it's the lighter side of Michelle Branch in brooding acoustic ballad mode, with angst-signifying guitar distortion creeping in at the edges. The blues come through in their gorgeous vocal melodies, which transcend all language barriers. As for the poetry, maybe not understanding it actually helps. Internet translation sez: "you're the train and I'm the station." Best to sing it in English, then: "Baby, I love you."
